Katie Bolen graduated from EKU in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree, but she did not earn a state teacher certification. However, her work as a preschool assistant and teacher motivated her to continue her education and earn elementary teacher certification. She is now a student in EKU’s Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) program.
